RESOLUTION NO. O 3- 1713
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR MEDINA MOTOR INN
WHEREAS, Joseph and Robert Raskob have made application
for a conditional use permit for a 67 unit motel on property
described in the preliminary plat as Lot 1, T.R.A. Addition,
Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Planning Com-
mission on April 12, 1983 and the Planning Commission recom-
mended approval of the conditional use permit subject to
several conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Medina that a conditional use permit is hereby
granted to Joseph and Fobert Raskob for a 67 unit motel on
Lot 1, T.R.A. Addition, Hennepin County, based upon the plans
and specifications submitted, but subject to the following
conditions:
1. That the minimum road frontage requirements of the Plat-
ting Code and the building setback requirements of the
Zoning Ordinance be met;
2. That the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance limiting the
amount of hard cover on the site and requiring certain
green areas on the site be met by the revised plan;
3. A portion of the proposed structure, not to exceed 528
square feet, may be used for accessory, commercial uses;
4. The requirements of the City Engineer regarding water-
lines and water hydrants shall be met;
5. The plans are subject to the approval of the Elm Creek
Watershed Commission and the requirements of the Commis-
sion shall be met;
6. Any additional requirements of the Minnesota Department
of Transportation regarding the entrance off Highway 55
shall be met;
7. The landscape plans shall be submitted and approved by
the City Staff;
8. All signs on the project shall
