RESOLUTION NO 200T.151
~`A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD~AMENDING
THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN,. MANAGEMENT SALARY SCHEDULE AND
AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF IDENTIFIED INCUMBENTS AND AN
APPROPRIATION INCREASE FOR THE REMAINDER OF FISCAL YEAR 2001-02
WHEREAS; Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV, Section 4 Reclassification, provides for an
employee to be allocated to a more appropriate class when the duties of which have .changed materially as to
necessitate reclassifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an Employee Classification and Position Plan and
amended same as needed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary resolution with salary
schedules including a General Employees and .Management salary schedules and an appropriate salary
range has been determined,, and
WHEREAS, the City has identified a need to upgrade salary levels of identified positions; .and
WHEREAS, the organizational needs require an appropriation from the unappropriated fund
balances, and
WHEREAS; it is in the best interest of the City to make these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does find and resolve as follows
Section 1~. Amend the General Employees and Management Salary Schedules and reclassify
or reallocate current incumbents (positions), where applicable, as identified
