A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CALIFORNIA TRAFFIC & MAINTENANCE,
INC. IN'THE AMOUNT OF $91,564.75 FOR THE CITYWIDE CROSSWALKS
UPGRADE PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5245, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Citywide Crosswalks Upgrade Project, -Project No 5-5245 is
scheduled for completion during the FY 2001-2002, and
WHEREAS, the Citywide Crosswalks Upgrade Project is funded by Hazard
Elimination Safety Program Grant Funds, and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 8, 2002, and California Traffic
Maintenance, Inc. was the lowest apparent bidder at $91,564.75; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the Crty Council of the Crty of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order.and resolve as follows:
Section 1 That the contract for the Citywide Crosswalks Upgrade Project,
Project Number 5-5245 be awarded to California Traffic Maintenance, Inc ,for its bid of
$91,564.75.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and California Traffic & Maintenance, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of January 2002.
