A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT, BASE .BID AND ADDITIVE ALTERNATE I, TO
ALL AMERICAN ASPHAL-TIN THE AMOUNT OF $1,277,645.00 FOR THE
IMPERIAL,HIGHWAY STREET, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,. PROJECT
NUMBER 5-5212, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Imperial Highway, Street ~Improveinent Project, Protect No 5-
5212,is scheduled for completion during the F,Y 2001-2002, and
WHEREAS, the Imperial Highway, Street Improvement Project is funded by
Prop C and County of Los Angeles; and

WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 17, 2002, and All American
Asphalt was the lowest responsible bidder at $1,277,645,00, and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
.NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1. That the. contract for the Imperial Highway, Street Improvement
Project, Project Number 5-5212 be awarded to All American Asphalt, for its bid of
.$1,277,645.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor, is. hereby +authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and All American Asphalt.
.Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
