RESOLUTION NO. 2002.019
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO
SPECIALTY TRUCKS AND ONE SEDAN"
WHEREAS, City Council approved the purchase of vehicles and equipment to
l ~ replace the City's aging fleet; and

WHEREAS, the City executed a contract with Administrative Service
Cooperative' Inc , DBA Fiesta Taxi for Dial-A-Ride services, and
` ~ WHEREAS, City's Dial-A-Ride program was. phased out and the purchase of
two Dial-A-Ride vans cancelled from the list; and
WHEREAS, two specialty trucks are on the list to replace older vehicles in the
Graffiti Division; and
WHEREAS, .additional personnel in the Business License Division require the
purchase of one sedan to conduct inspections. and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in Fund 64 to purchase two specialty trucks
-and there are sufficient funds from the auction's. proceeds in account OS-5228-4312 to purchase
one sedan.
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Crty of
Lynwood as follo~vs~
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to
proceed with the purchase of two specialty trucks to be funded from Fund 64 and one sedan to be
funded from the auction's proceeds in account no. 05-5228-4312.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th day of February , 2002.
