A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYIVWOOD ACCEPTING AN
EASEMENT DEDICATED FOR STREET
. PURPOSES AT 3100 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY`
WHEREAS, the conditians of approval for the development at 3100 Imperial Highway
require the developer to dedicate a corner cutoff at the northwest corner of the property for the
construction of a handicapped ramp; and
WHEREAS," the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that said easement is
necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public; and ~
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be served by
accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the Crty Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ~IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication of said easement for street purposes
from DONALD CHAS AND MIN CHAS as described below:
That portion of Lot 2, Block 18, of Mod~eska Park Tract in the City of Lynwood,
' County of Los Angeles; State of. California, as recorded in Book 9, Pages 142-
143, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, 'described as follows.
Beginning, at a point on the northerly line of said Lot 2, which lies along said line
ten.(I0) feet easter y of"the northwest corner of said Lot 2, thence westerly along
°said northerly line ten (10) feet to said northwest corner of Lot 2; thence along the
westerly line of said Lot 2 southerly ten (10) feet; thence northeasterly in a direct
line~to the Point of Beginning
Assessor's Map No. 6171-001-037 in the office of the County Recorder.
Commonly known as: 3100 Imperial Hwy.
Lynwood, Ca 90262
Section 2. This. resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19tHay of February2002.
