CALL TO ORDER
The November 3, 2008, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll (arrived at 5:58 P.M.), Ferguson, Klindt, Koon, Layton, Penfold,
Randolph, and Scrivner
Absent: Harvey and Medin
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2008 -74 (lodging tax): Staff indicated they did not have their report completed yet that was
requested, so Councilman Koon stated he would place this on the Informal Calendar. The
City Clerk was asked to place the staff report on the November 17 agenda.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at the meeting at this point.
2008 -70 (Parking on E. Capitol): Questions were asked regarding whether the parking
violation in the bill would be consistent with those proposed in pending bill 2008 -72 which
amends the code pertaining to minimum fines.
2008 -72 (minimum fines): Councilwoman Carrie Carroll requested that the sponsor of this
bill place it on the informal calendar.
The meeting adjourned at 6:03 P.M.
