HomeMy Public PortalAbout1984-005Member 66)/iarn 6 /3e introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 84-5 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF HUNTER DRIVE SOUTH AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON THE IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Hunter Drive, South, be- tween the centerline of County Road 24 and the south corporate limits of the City of Medina, said improvement consisting of the grading base and asphalt surfacing of the said street, and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota: 1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo and Associates and they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a prelim- inary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. 2. The council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $ 9.5;0670 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 1st day of May, 1984 in the council chambers of the city hall at 8:00 p.m, and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
