A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOODAPPROVING
THE CERTIFIED LIST OF UTILITY USER'S TAX .EXEMPTIONS FOR PERIOD
JANUARY 1,.2004 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2001.

WHEREAS, The Lynwood City Councii adopted Ordinance No. 1352 and Resolution No.
90-191 imposing and implementing a schedule,forl.Jtility User's Tax on certain utility usage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in~adopting Ordinance No. 1352 determined that imposition of
the Utility User's Tax may cause undue hardship on certain individuals who therefore, will be
. exempt from payments of the utility user's taxes under guidelines established in Resolution~90 191;
and -
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted resolution 2004-093 exempting Park Water
customers from utility user's tax'; and
WHEREAS,. Resolution No 99-154 established an exemption for the disabled, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance or designated staff 'has reviewed and verified the
status of all. applicants as to compliance with requirements of Resolution 90-191 and Resolution
99-154,

'NOW, THEREFORE; the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, order, and
resole as follows:
Section 1. That the Certified Utility User's Tax Exemption List has beenreviewed and
certification is approved
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this .19th day of March 2002.
