CITY OF MEDINA
Resolution Approving the Alignment and plans and specifications
of the Medina Interceptor within the City of MEDINA
Whereas, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission plans
to construct a major sanitary sewer interceptor in the City of
MEDINA and
Ighereas, the a lignment of this major Interceptor, has been
reviewed by the City .of MEDINA , and
Whereas, the plans and specifications for the interceptor
have also been reviewed by the City of MEDINA
Now therefore, Be It Resolved that the MEDINA
City Council hereby approves the alignment and the plans and
specifications for the Medina Interceptor.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was

The flow to pass through the Medina Interceptor has been projected in the
"Southwest Facility Planning Study, 201 Facilities Plan", dated June 1980.
The design flows from Table II - 10, page II-15 is reprinted below:

• Stand By Power To Be Provided By Existing Portable Generator.
Manual Transfer Switch And Generator Outlets Provided.

Maximum Rate: New Pipe, Three Pumps, C=140, 870 gpm, V=3.57 f.p.s.
Gravity Sewer:
Size: 12 Inch Diameter
• Length: 6,650 L.F.
• Slope: 0.40 to 0.48%
• Capacity n=0.013, 1015 to 1112 gpm
• Capacity n=0.012, 1100 to 1205 gpm
