RESOLUTION NO. 2002.045
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AMONTH-TO-MONTH AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AND INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR
° , REDESIGN AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CITY WEBSITE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood launched its website in the year 2000 to readily
provide more information to the public; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to have a well maintained and
accessible website on the Information Super Highway; and'
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to redesign its website, to improve the
navigational functions and web hosting and maintenance services; 'and '
WHEREAS~,.the City of Lynwood has received a proposal from Innovative
Concepts and,T'echnologies to provide web hosting, monthly website maintenance and to
r redesign the City's website; acid
WHEREAS, Innovative Concepts and Technologies is a technology solution
provider, pecalizing in assisting both small and large business organizations to get on
the Internet; and
WHEREAS, Innovative Concepts and Technologies proposes to provide
maintenance service and web hosting for a monthly fee of $750.00, to redesign the
Lynwood website for a cost of $2,000 and will charge aset-up fee of $631.20; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement is month-to-month; and
' ~ WHEREAS,. funds to cover the cost for these services through fiscal year
2001/2002 are available in Lynwood Information Incorporated budget. ,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council does~hereby resolve, order and determine
"as follows: -~
Section. l . The City Council does hereby authorize entering into an month-to-
month agreement between the City of Lynwood and Innovative Concepts and
Technologies to provide website hosting and maintenance services. ..,Y
Section`2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
