A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND BALANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF
EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE PURCHASE OF MAT FLOOR
COVERING AT THE NATATORIUM
~ WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desirous to provide the most attractive and the
safest possible swim facility for the citizens of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, m this effort the City of Lynwood continually endeavors to install
the most modern and highest quality of equipment m'its various facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is desirous of using mat floor coverings for
certain tale areas of the Natatorium Swim Facility that tends to get dangerously wet while
the facility is being used by the general public; and
WHEREAS, staff has located three (3) reputable vendors who have provided very
similar information relative to size, materials and cost m relationship to the items
necessary to be purchased, and - '
WHEREAS, the total cost of the purchase of the necessary mats including
purchase, tax and delivery would be approximately eight thousand dollars ($8.000.00);
and
WHEREAS, this purchase was not included as a part of the adopted 2001-2002
fiscal budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of.the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim; order and resolve as follows:
' Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to carryout any
necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That the fund appropriation of eight thousand dollars ($8,000) be
allocated- from the unappropriated General Fund balance as follows•
