~~A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BANNAOUN ENGINEERS-CONSTRUCTORS
IN'THE AMOUNT OF $246,550.00 FOR THE PLATT AVENUE,
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5249, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE'THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Platt Avenue, Street ImprovementPro~ect, Project No. 5-5249 is
scheduled for completion during the FY 2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, the Platt Avenue, Street Improvement Prod ect is funded by AB2928
Grant Funds,, and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 3, 2002, and Bannaoun
Engineers-Constructors was the lowest apparent bidder at,$246,SS0.00, and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
necessary experience for this type ofpro~ect.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim,. order and resolve as follows•
Section 1. That the contract for the Platt Avenue, Street Improvement Project,
Project Number 5-5249 be awarded to Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors, for its low bid
of $246,SS0.00
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute 'the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon rts adoption.
