in accordance with the inerrant the meeting was held in the
Brewster Elementary School on Onlay evening, August 12, 1968,
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 F. H. by the Mbderatcr,
Grant V. Koch. A quorum woz present a:".d there was a moment of silent
prayer. The tellers were eau_ Sy_ver, `une Gallant and Elizabeth
.I..wi'nell, Checkers were Dorothea Dugan and jean 'Gage.
The return f the warrant was read by Town Clerk, Donald P.
Consudine, it the exception of the articles which were read as they
were beinZ considered for action.
ARTICIE 1, To see if the Town will accept membership in a regi0nal
school district together with the towns Of Wtham, Orleans, and tell-
fleet in accordance with a proposed a.?z?enaement of the district agreemznt
initiated by the Regional District School C'.cmndttee on c i,ly 24, 1968,

The
amendment will not take effect unless the incurring of district debt
fur the construction of the additional school facility described below or
of other additional school facilities is authorized no later than December
31, 1968. She Regional District School Committee has authorized $5.941,
OOC.00 for constructing, originally equipping and furnishing a new district
high school, including a swimming pool, on ju7y 24, 1968. As to any of
this debt which is Piot disapproved by the towns presently in the district,

ARTICLE E 2. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of
money from the Stabilization Fund to the Easthamm rleans->°yel.i.fleet
regional School District for constructing, originally equipping and
furnishing a new district high school.

the Stabilization Fund to the Lastham"Orleans-le'lifleet (Nauset)
School District for constructing, originally equipping and

be effective unless an aggregate amount of at leas $100,000.00 (including,
this appropriation) is appropriated from their respective .StaJiilization

At this point, the Chairman of the 3oard' of Selectmen, Lawrence
3. Doyle, recommended a standing 'Vote of thanks to the _regional School
Planning Committee and particularly to the Chairman, Lawrence F. Crocker
for their untiring efforts in behalf of the Tenn. This os unanimous.

added to the sum raised under Article 39 of the March %, 1g66 ToWl''n

Voted unanimously that the Town transfer frOm free cash in the
treasury, the sup: oma' three hundred dollars ($300.00; to be added to the
sum raised under Article 39 of the 1.,larch 7, 1966 Ton Meeting, to con-
struct a foot bridge at Pa-ines s Creek.
ARTICLE 4. To act on any other business that may legally come
before said meeting.
