RESOLUTION NO. 2002.058
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THIRTY-TWO THOUSAND
.DOLLARS FROM THEUNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR
THE PURCHASE OF~~STAGING AND CANOPY EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood operates various special events throughout the
year; and
WHEREAS, the rental of stages and canopies has been .apart of these events; and
WHEREAS, the costs associated with the usage of these stages and canopies
would be reduced if these rtems were purchased outright and owned by the City of
Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of this equipment was not included as part of the
adopted budget for fiscal year 2001 /2002.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood that:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or his designee to
execute all transactions necessary to bring thrs resolution to successful fruition.
Section 2. The C>ty Council authorizes the following transfer:

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April 2002.
