CALL TO ORDER
The January 16, 2009, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:05 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: *Ferguson (arrived at 12:13 P.M.), Klindt, Koon, Layton, Medin, and
Scrivner
Absent: Carroll, Harvey, Penfold, and Randolph
A quorum was present after the arrival of Councilman Kenneth Ferguson.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Liaison Reports: Councilwoman Cindy Layton will give a report on the public forum
recently held by the Ad Hoc Committee on the Arts.
Councilman Dan Klindt will give a status report of the City / County Ambulance Committee.
*Councilman Kenneth Ferguson arrived at this point in the meeting.
Bills:
2008 -117, 2008 -118, and 2008 -119: The sponsors will place these bills on the Informal
Calendar.
The Council discussed whether they should have a closed session at a special City Council
meeting or an Administration Committee meeting on January 26. After discussion, the
Council decided it should be an Administration Committee meeting, and Councilman Ron
Medin stated that since that is the case, the meeting of the Administration Committee
previously scheduled for January 22 will be canceled.
