HomeMy Public PortalAbout2005-05-17-Annual Town Election Report Report of the ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION May 17, 2005 In accordance with the Warrant, the inhabitants of Brewster qualified to vote in the Town Election met at the Brewster Baptist Church, Tuesday May 17, 2005. The polls were declared open at 7:00a.m. The election workers, duly sworn in were: June Gallant, Warden; Ruth Hanlon, Deputy Warden; Patricia Galante, Precinct 1 Clerk; Ann Golini, Precinct 2 Clerk; Liz Hardy, Precinct 3 Clerk. The checkers were: Judith Ahlberg, Barbara Bartolomei, Ken Berbrick, Nancy Berbrick, Gloria Bowen, Mary Carey, Carolyn Cathrew, Kathleen Conroy, Dot Danner, Jackie Dufresne, Louis Dufresne, Jean Gage, Richard Gerhardt, Sheila Gerhardt, Ben Golini, Mary Howe, Nancy Huppi, Philip Kerrivan, Helen Kelly, David Lahive, Marilyn Lahive, June Legg, Karen Marsella, Janet McCormack, John McGirr, Marilyn Mims, Jane Nixon, John Nixon, Peg Personette, Judie Polio, Jean Saint, Marjorie Sargent, Nancy Segall, Maureen Steinmann, John Unger, and Evelyn Williams. There shall be no additional excise on real property levied, other than the current 3 percent levied for the provision of the Cape Cod Open Space Land Acquisition Program. Acceptance of this section shall allow the community to access state matching funds up to 100 percent of the excise on real property currently levied, which was previously unavailable to the town.
