CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. S/44-02-4—
RESOLUTION APPROVING A FLEA MARKET AT THE MEDINA
BALLROOM
WHEREAS, the Hamel Lions Club has requested a conditional
use permit to operate a flea market at the Medina Ballroom
parking lot at 500 Highway 55 within the City of Medina; and
WHEREAS, sufficient parking and access are provided; and
WHEREAS, a conditional use permit is required by the Medina
Zoning Ordinance for the operation of a flea market at said
location;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Medina, that the conditional use permit is hereby granted
to the Hamel Lions Club to operate a flea market at the Medina
Ballroom at 500 Highway 55 within the City of Medina, subject to
the following conditions:
1. The flea market may be operated on Sundays beginning in
May and continuing through October during the hours of 8:00 a.m.
until 5:00 p.m.
2. Adequate trash recepticles and solid waste removal will
be provided by the Hamel Lions Club.
3. Adequate toilet facilities will be made available to
the participants in the flea market.
4. The flea market will be operated in accordance with
plans submitted to the City of Medina.
5. The Hamel Lions Club shall reimburse the City for all
engineering, legal and administrative costs incurred by the City
on this project.
