ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate
the sum of Tree billion Two Hurdrec Twenty Thousand Dollars
�+�"3,220,000) for the purpose of establishing a water su3p!y in order
to supply the Town and Its inhabitants with water as provided in
Chapter 552 of the :=acts of 1965, including he acquisition of lard,
including land for a standpipe site generally as indicated on certain
plans prepared by T itman 8 coward, Engineers, dated November 10, 1966
as most recently revised Aagust 10, 1970, and interests in land and,
the construction of such system and related facilities necessary for
placing the system into operation, and to determine whether such
appropriation shall be raised by borrowing or otherwise or to take
any other action relative thereto.
At his point, the Moderator, Grant 1. Koch suspended
action Of 4"2 Town Meeting in the interests of safety and welfare
