September 15,170 The Primaries were held on September 15, 1070, in accordance with the Viarrant, at the Brewster Town Hall. Polls v,ere open from 10 A.M. and closed, at 6:-�© P.M. The r e turn of the warrant was read by the Town Clerk,, Donald P. Consodine. The following election officers were sworn in by the Town Clerk, Paul C. Sylver, waren, Fred H. TTash, Lawrence A. Baker, Gladys Curtis, Dorothy Grenier, Lola Taber, and Doris Po,rgell. Me police officer at the ballot box was Theodore 'Wood. TIhere were 4-55 vots cast, 364 Republicans , and 71 Democrats. Four snort ballots w8re cast, but were not recorded in accordance with instructuons from the Secretary of State. The results follow: Republican.
