THE CUNT£ACT made and entered into ti:is

Company. hereinafter called the Producer, L.nd the Incorporated Town of
7elleburg, Ionia, hereinafter calmed the Consumer.

motor in their 1:umpi% plant in Wellsburg, Iowa, and so eona.sct it that
it cz::n be used for power fur pumping; the water required by the oity's
service.

The r agrees to use t'-e current suprllod under the
terms of ti:iQ contract exclusively for pumping ite water. unlass pre -
venter from doing so by discontina&ace of tl:e service, and t"'e Producer
agree, to maintain a continuous service for such purpose unless pre-
ve,:ted by stor:us, accidents, acts of (god and other causes beyond its
control.
The Producer agrees to provide all the necessary poles,
wires, eta+, and extend ite 1res to the building in which tho motor
is situated and provide a meter within the building, which shall
measure aocurately the current consumed by the motor- The producer
furt4or agrees to furnish the necessary electric current to oj.er€:te
this motor, and the: Consumer herewith agrees to i:ay for such current
mont; ly at the following rates:
per month. 91 oer kilowatt-hour for the first 150 kilowatt-hours use.
per month. 61 per kilowatt-hour for tl:e ne-t 3U0 silo-vatt-aoures usad
4¢ per kilowatt-hour for all in excess of 450 kilowatt-

Bills shall be rendered the first of the Month rnd be-
come payable at the first regular moetinl of the council of each
month.
It is matually agreed «_.d uuderstood that the Producer
shall not be liable in damages for any failure to perform any cove-
nants in tY.ie contract, if such failure e;:s:ll be caused by riots,
strikes, acts of God, or other causes beyond their control.
This contract shall be in force for a r:eriod of five years
€.nd shall continue in force fro,.i year to year thereafter, unless can-
celled br sixty hays' written notice by either party.
