CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. D W - 3 4
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR A
HEARING ON THE COMBINED ROLLING GREEN STORM
SEWER PROJECT AND HUNTER DRIVE SOUTH
STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, on April 17, 1984, the City Council of the City of
Medina proposed to install a storm sewer project and to assess the
benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of this improve-
ment, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, in the area des-
cribed as follows:
All that part of Sections 1 and 12, Township
118, Range 23, Hennepin County, lying North of
Minnesota Trunk Highway 55; and
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1984, the City Council proposed and consol-
idated with the said storm sewer project, the improvement of Hunter
Drive North by installation of the grading, base and surfacing for
a nine ton road, all lying within the above -captioned real estate;
and
WHEREAS, on the dates above captioned the City Council dir-
ected the City Engineer to prepare a report advising the Council
in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
feasible and whether it should best be made as proposed or in con-
nection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended; and
WHEREAS, the report of the City Engineer was completed on May
4, 1984, pursuant to the direction of the City Council and received
on May 5, 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina, Minnesota:
1. The City Council will consider the above captioned street and
storm sewer project in accordance with the feasibility report
and will consider the assessment of all abutting and nonabut-
ting property which is benefited by the proposed improvement
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated cost for the
total improvement of $ /8,?, ,pop .
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on
the 26th day of June, 1984, in the City Council chambers of
the City Hall located at 2052 County Road 24, Hamel, Minnesota,
at 8:00 p.m. and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement
as required by law.
