RESOLUTION NO. 2010.027
A .RESOL'UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES,- < FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE CITY TRAFFIC L
SIGNAL SYSTEM MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, to improve traffic flow, ,reduce delays and have the signals operate
efficiently citywide, a more detailed study of the City's traffic signal system is needed,
.and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Signal System Master Plan will provide .recommendations
needed to maintain and improve traffic signal efficiency citywide, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Signal Master Plan study is listed in the CIP project list for
FY 2009-2010, and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Project No 4011 67 988 and are funded by
Proposition C
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, .PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of .Lynwood approves the issuance
of a 'Request for Proposals for consulting services to ,prepare the Traffic Signal Master
Plan
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
