CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. g?- 3
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the city council ordered the preparation of plans
and specifications for the improvement of Hunter Drive South
between the centerline of County Road 24 and the south corporate
limits of the City of Medina, said improvement consisting of the
grading, base and asphalt surfacing of said street; and
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications have been completed
and placed on file with the City Clerk,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. Plans and specifications prepared by Bonestroo and Asso-
ciates, engineer for such improvement pursuant to council
resolution, a copy of which plans and specifications is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby ap-
proved and shall be filed with the city clerk.
2. The city clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official newspaper and the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improve-
ment under such approved plans and spcifications. The
advertisement shall be published for 02, weeks, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will
be opened and tabulated by the city clerk and the city
engineer at 10:00 a.m. on the of0 day of , 1984,
in the council chambers of the city hall,yelg_
the City of
Medina, and will be presented to and considered by the
City Council at 8:00 p.m. on the '.' day of.,�.._ , 1984,
in the council chambers of the city hall, City(of Medina,
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to
the clerk for five (5) percent of the amount of each bid.
