WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Moab
held a public hearing at a regular meeting on June 15, 1982
for the purpose of adopting the 1982/1983 proposed fiscal budget;
and
WHEREAS, due to the City Council's desire to decrease the
mill levy request and to the lack of time to secure certain
equipment prior to the close of the present fiscal year and
to insure a balanced budget, the Moab City Council adopted the
proposed budget as follows:
Increase Decrease
Streets $33,750.00 Swimming Pool $100,000.00
Transfers $145,737.00
(Equipment Replacement)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the minutes of the
meeting held June 15, 1982, be, and the same are, hereby ordered
to show the adoption of the amended budget for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1982 and ending June 30, 1983, as presented to
the Mayor and City Council.
