RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO
REED BALES
WHEREAS, Reed Bales ("applicant") has applied for a
conditional use permit to operate a sawmill on Willow Drive
in the City of Medina; and
WHEREAS, the operation of said business will not impede
the normal and orderly development of the property in the
area; and
WHEREAS, the conditional use permit is required by the
Medina Zoning Ordinance for the operation of said business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Medina that a conditional use permit be granted
to Reed Bales to operate a sawmill facility on Willow Drive,
on real estate legally described as:

upon the following terms and conditions:
(1) That said operation shall conform in all respects to
the Medina Zoning Ordinance.
(2) Reed Bales will enter into the development contract
attached hereto, said development contract will govern
the terms and conditions of the construction.
(3) The applicant shall landscape the property in accordance
with plans submitted to the City of Medina.
(4) Hours of operation on the sawmill facility will be
6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,six days per week.
(5) Security lighting will be installed and the driveway will
be placed in a location approved by the City of Medina.
(6) The driveway shall be blacktopped within one year of
the date of this resolution.
(7) Placement of all equipment used in the sawmill operation
will meet setback requirements of the City.
(8) The 60 by 100 foot slab which will serve as the sawmill
facility will be enclosed within three years of the
date of this resolution
(9) The sawmill operation shall not exceed state noise
leval regulations at the perimeter of the property.
