AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE ELECTED OFFICERS OF THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE FOR THE YEAR 2024
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that the following
total sum of all monies shall be payable beginning January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024:
SECTION ONE: That the salaries of elected officials of the City of Greencastle shall
be as follows:
Mayor $79,094.33
Clerk-Treasurer $75,425.33
Common Council (7) $8,736.21 each for a total of$61,153.47
SECTION TWO: That the General Fund shall pay to the Mayor of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the mayor on behalf of the General Fund during the year
2024 the sum of$26,364.77. The mayor will receive the same amount of bonuses as the other
full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it will be split 1/3 and paid on
behalf of General Fund.
That the General Fund shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Greencastle for
services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the General Fund during the year 2024
the sum of$25,141.77. The Clerk-Treasurer will receive the same amount of bonuses as the
other full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it will be split 1/3 and paid
on behalf of General Fund.
That the General Fund shall pay to each member of the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the General Fund during
the year 2024 the sum of$6552.15.
SECTION THREE: That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Mayor of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the mayor on behalf of the Department of
Water Works during the year 2024 the sum of$26,364.78. The mayor will receive the same
amount of bonuses as the other full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it
will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of Department of Water Works.
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the Department of Water
Works during the year 2024 the sum of$25,141.78. The Clerk-Treasurer will receive the same
amount of bonuses as the other full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it
will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of Department of Water Works.
That the Department of Water Works shall pay to each member of the Common Council
of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council of behalf of the
Department of Water Works during the year 2024 the sum of$1092.03.
SECTION FOUR: That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Mayor of the City
of Greencastle for services rendered by the mayor on behalf of the Department of Sewage
during the year 2024 the sum of$26,364.78. The mayor will receive the same amount of

bonuses as the other full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it will be split
1/3 and paid on behalf of Department of Sewage.
That the Department of Sewage shall pay to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of
Greencastle for services rendered by the Clerk-Treasurer on behalf of the Department of
Sewage during the year 2024 the sum of$25,141.78. The Clerk-Treasurer will receive the same
amount of bonuses as the other full-time employees outlined in Salary Ordinance 2023-5 and it
will be split 1/3 and paid on behalf of Department of Sewage.
That the Department of Sewage shall pay to each member of the Common Council of
the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the Common Council on behalf of the
Department of Sewage during the year 2024 the sum of$1092.03.
