RESOLUTION NO. O -50
RESOLUTION APPROVING REZONING APPLICATION OF
TWIN CITY MONORAIL
WHEREAS, Twin City Monorail (-applicant") has applied for a
rezoning of the property described as Lot 1 in plans submitted to
the City of Medina from zoning classifications of rural commercial
and urban commercial to an urban industrial classification; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held pursuant to all statutory
and ordinance requirements and a report was made by the Planning
Commission to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the rezoning reflects changes in the goals and
policies of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina as follows:
1. The property described as Lot 1 in plans submitted to the
City of Medina, legally described as:

is hereby rezoned as follows: All property in Lot 1 south of
the current sewer line is hereby rezoned from a classification
of urban commercial to urban industrial. All property in
Lot 1 north of the current sewer line is rezoned from a
classification of rural commercial to urban industrial.
2. The property described as Lot 1 in plans submitted by the
applicant to the City of Medina is rezoned to permit all the
industrial uses proposed in the current application of Twin
City Monorail.
3. If the applicant has not obtained a building permit to
commence construction on or before October 1, 1984, this
resolution and all decisions of the City Council made pursuant
thereto shall become void.
4. The rezoning shall be in accordance with and subject to the
ordinances of the City of Medina, the statutes of the State
of Minnesota, and the regulations of the Metropolitan Council.
The rezoning is conditioned upon approval by the Metropolitan
Council.
5. The rezoning shall not effector increase the number of
sewer units previously permitted on the southerly 4.6 acres
of property now described as Lot 1. No more than sixteen
sewer units will be permitted on Lot 1.
