HomeMy Public PortalAbout002-2015 - Zoning - 1929 & 0 Chester Blvd - Limited Comercial to Outdoor CommercialCOMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA ORDINANCE NO. 2-2015 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR PORTIONS OF CERTAIN PARCELS FROM LIMITED COMMERCIAL (LC) DISTRICT TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL (GC) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain properties commonly known as 1929 Chester Boulevard and 0 Chester Boulevard and legally described as follows, to wit: 1929 Chester Boulevard: PT SW SEC 21-14-1 0.467A 0 Chester Boulevard: PT SW 21-14-1 3.1255 as a Limited Commercial (LC) District, as described on Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change a certain 2.213 acre portion of the above described real estate's zoning designation, as set forth in the legal description provided in Exhibit A, to General Commercial (GC) District in order to allow the new construction of car wash and a strip mall for professional offices and retail spaces. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for a certain 2.213 acre portion of the above described properties are changed to an Outdoor Commercial (OC) District.
