CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR THE
HAMEL SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the City Council
on May 15, 1984, the consulting engineer retained for that purpose
has prepared plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of
the Hamel Sewer Lines in Sections 11 and 12, Township 118, Range
23 abutting on the following streets:
Brockton Lane
Hamel Road
Hunter Drive
Comanche Trail
Hickory Drive
Co. Road 116
Mill Street
Elm Creek Drive; and
Highway 55
Sioux Drive
Pinto Drive
Kilkenny Lane
Tower Drive
Highway 101
Evergreen Road
WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and
specifications to the City Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. The plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached here-
to and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official newspaper and in such other trade publication as is
deemed necessary, an advertisement for bids upon the making of
the said improvement according to the plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published for days, shall spe-
cify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be open
and tabulated at 10:00 a.m. on September 7, 1984, in the City
Council chambers of the City Hall at 2052 County Road 24,
Medina, Minnesota, by the City Clerk and the consulting en-
gineer and will be considered by the City Council at 8:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Council chambers at 2052 County Road 24 on
September 18, 1984. The notice shall further state that no
bids will be considered unless they are sealed and filed with
the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check,
bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the
amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.
