CALL TO ORDER
The June 1, 2007, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:05 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Brown, Crane, Klindt, Koon, Layton, Medin, and Smith
Absent: Ferguson, Harvey and Penfold
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
CONSENT AGENDA:
Councilman Brian Crane asked to receive a memo explaining the process of placing things
on the Consent Agenda. City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated he would get that memo
to all Council Members.
Councilman Kevin Brown stated he will be abstaining on the Sho -Me Technologies item.
RECONSIDERATION OF BILLS:
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus explained the process outlined in the City Code for
reconsidering a bill.
BILLS:
2007 -19 — Councilman Brian Crane stated he believes the Council should consider
increasing the funding for the milling and overlay projects since the cost of fuels and other
factors continue to rise, which has caused the number of streets improved to simultaneously
decrease.
CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor John Landwehr requested that the category "Legal Actions" be added to the topics
to be discussed in closed session. The agenda will be amended to reflect this addition.
