CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF HUNTER DRIVE SOUTH
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the im-
provement of Hunter Drive South, between the centerline of County
Road 24 and the south corporate limits of the City of Medina,
said improvement consisting of the grading, base and asphalt sur-
facing thereof, bids were received, opened and tabulated accord-
ing to law, and the following bids were received complying with
the advertisement:
Midwest Asphalt Company
Lund Asphalt Construction Company
Northwest Asphalt, Inc.
C.S. McCrossan, Inc.
Alexander Construction Company
Valley Paving, Inc.
Buffalo Bituminous
Hardrives, Inc.
Bury and Carlson

WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Asphalt Company is the low-
est responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and dir-
ected to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Medina,
with the said Midwest Asphalt Company for the improvement of
Hunter Drive South as above described, according to the plans
and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and
placed on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the bid bonds, except the bid bonds
of Midwest Asphalt Company and Lund Asphalt Construction
Company shall be retained and returned after the said con-
tract has been signed by the successful bidder.
