CALL TO ORDER
The July 13, 2007, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Crane, Ferguson, Klindt, Koon, Layton, Medin, and Penfold
Absent: Brown, Harvey, and Smith
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Public Hearings:
Mayor John Landwehr asked to move 2007 -44 up since there were some people present
today interested in that issue.
Councilman Ron Medin explained the changes in the substitute which went out in the
packet. City Administrator Steve Rasmussen distributed the associated "Schedule 1" and
explained how the dates and items were prepared. He stated the list represents the things
need to be done to bring the property into code compliance. Mayor John Landwehr asked
that, regarding item 2(c) that no matter what staff negotiates that the Council still has final
approval of any contract.
Pending Bills:
2007 -33 (Contract with Verslues for street maintenance facility)Mayor John Landwehr stated
that, based on information he has received from staff after his questions at the last meeting,
he is comfortable with the project moving forward as recommended.
