DEDICATION BY RIDER
~mEREAS, N.J.S. 40A:4-39 provides that a Municipality
may dedicate certain revenues in any budget when the
character of the revenue is not subject to reasonable
accurate estimate in advance by including in said
budget a statement dedicating such revenues to the
purpose or purposes for which they are received; and
WHEREAS, the Borough will receive funds that are to be
used solely toward the cost incurred by the Borough to
provide for the operations of the Municipal Alliance on
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Municipal Alliance on Alcohol
and Drug Abuse (PL. 1989, c.51; NJS:40A:5~29) are
hereby dedicated and shall be made available for
expenditures for the purposes stated above as when
received in cash during the year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of
this resolution be filed with the Director of the
Division of Local Government Services.
Adopted this 26th day of July, 2007
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 27th, 2007.
