RESOLUTION 23-2020
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING FOUR (4) PEOPLE TO SERVE AS MEMBERS OF
THE ARCHES HOTSPOT REGION COORDINATING COMMITTEE.
Be it Resolved and Ordained by the City Council for the City of Moab, Utah as follows:
SECTION ONE: PURPOSE. This Resolution is forthe purpose ofappointing four (4)
members of the Arches Hotspot Region Coordinating Committee as outlined in the City of
Moab Ordinance 2020-11. These appointments shall serve as four (4) of the seven (7)
members, the remaining three (3) to be appointed by the Grand County, Utah County
Council.
SECTION TWO: APPOINTMENT OF FOUR (4) COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO
THE ARCHES HOTSPOT REGION COORDINATING COMMITTEE. The City of
Moab City Council hereby appoints Mike Duncan, Karen Guzman -Newton, Kalen Jones, and
Wes Shannon as members of the Committee for the Arches Hotspot Region Coordinating
Committee, to serve throughout the Committees duration as currently codified in Ordinance
2020-11 to expire on April 14, 2021.
SECTION THREE: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon passage and completion of all legal requirements.
ADOPTED AND PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOAB,
THIS 20`h DAYOF APRIL 2020.
