Whereas, the Records of the Grand County Recorder indi- cate that the City of Moab may claim some right, title, or in- terest in the below described property; and Whereas, the City of Moab does not claim any right, title or interest in the below described property; and Whereas, it is not in the best interest of the City of Moab to assert any interest in the below described property, It is hereby resolved by the Council of the City of Moab: Section 1. AUTHORIZATION TO QUIT -CLAIM CITY'S INTEREST, IF ANY. The Mayor is authorized to quit -claim to the owner of said property the City's interest, if any, in the following des- cribed property: Tract No. 1: Beginning at a fence corner post on the East side of the Old City Park Road which bears N 1030.3 ft. and E 1372.3 ft. from the SW corner, Sec. 16, T26S, R22E, SLB&M and proceeding with a chain link fence line N 1°04' E 483.4 ft;, thence on an ir- regular curve to the right 98.1 ft. (chord bears N 50°29' E 90.8 ft.) thence N 78°17' E 78.4 ft., thence S71°47' E 41.6 ft; thence S 48°40' E 250.2 ft., thence S35°57' E 116.9 ft. to a fence corner at said chain link fence and a pole fence, thence with said pole fence on the North line of the Fletcher Kerby Tract S87°14' W 35.6 ft. to a 2" rebar at the NW Corner of the Kerby tract, thence with a pole fence S 0°22' E 281.4ft. (record bearings S 0°35' E) to a 4" rebar at the SW Corner of the Kerby tract, thence with a wire fence at the North line of the B. Farrow tract S 89°52' W 418.9 ft. (record bearing west) to the point of begin- ning and containing 4.62 acres more or less. Bearings are based on the East line SE4 Sect 16 (S 0° 06' E) as shown on the attached plat. Tract No. 2: Beginning at a corner on the West side of the Old City Park Road which bears North 1323.8 ft. and East 1327.2 from the SW Corner, Section 16, T26S, R22E, SLB&M and proceeding thence South 160 ft., and thence West 30 ft.,thence North 160 ft., thence East 30 ft. to the point of beginning and containing 0.11 acres more of less.
