During the Workshop, the consultant working with Grand County on their nightly rental licensing program will be attending to provide an overview of their services. The Housing Roundtable group has seen this information and expressed interest in discussing a registration program in Fraser and thus we are bringing this discussion to the Town Board. The first item on the consent agenda is a follow up to the access permit amendments recently adopted by the Board. This simply addresses an oversight in the prior ordinance by deleting the fees for access permits referenced in the Code Appendix. The grant of easement to Mountain Parks Electric is for new service to Filing 10. This route is through an open space area previously dedicated to the Town and provides a route that allows for preservation of a stand of trees. As you may recall, we have been working with the East Grand Water Quality Board on a Source Water Protection Plan. The final plan is included in the packet and we would like to provide an overview and discussion with the Board. Ultimately, we will recommend adoption of the plan. Finally, I’d like to discuss a series of improvements to the Board Room. Munn Architects provided a design concept for a complete remodel of the room recently. Given the Boards concern related to costs along with the interest in improving the functionality of the room, we have some more modest suggestions to consider.
