A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE IMPLEMETATION
OF PHASE ONE OF THE PARKING METER PROGRAM
THROUGH AN INFORMAL BIDDING PROCESS
WHEREAS, the Parking Meter Program is listed in the City's current Strategic
Plan; and
WHEREAS, Phase One of the said program includes the purchase and installation
of parking meters strategically within the City; and
WHEREAS, said parking meters are of commercial grade and have to be ordered,
requiring ample of lead time; and
WHEREAS, said parking meters will have to be installed in accordance with the
Phase One plans, and
WHEREAS, the purchase and installation of said parking meters for Phase One of
the Parking Meter Program can be done more expeditiously through an informal bidding
process; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Section 6-3.13 allows the informal
bidding. process with a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, be rt resolved by the Lynwood Crty Council as follow:
Section 1 The City Council authorizes the informal bidding process for the
implementation of Phase One of the Parking Meter Program, by a 4/5 vote
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
