RESOLUTION NO. 2002.084

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO RANCO CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $29,145.50 FOR THE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER 5-5256, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Sidewalk Improvement Project at various Locations, Project No.
S-S2S6 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2002-2003; and
WHEREAS, the Sidewalk Improvement Project is funded. by TDA Article 3
Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 28, 2002, and Ranco Corporation
was the lowest apparent bidder at $29,145 S0, and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project. `
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order'and resolve as follows.
Section`l That the contract for the Sidewalk Improvement Project, Project
Number 5-5256 be awarded to Ranco Corporation, for its bid of $29,145 SO
Section 2 That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Ranco Corporation.
Section `3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
