A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BANNAOUN ENGINEERS-CONSTRUCTORS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $260,300.00 FOR LUGO AVENUE, STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5253, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Lugo Avenue, Street Improvement Project, Project No 5-5253
is scheduled for completion during the FY 2001-2002, and
WHEREAS, the Lugo Avenue, Street Improvement Project is funded by
Community Development Block Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 15, 2002, and the lowest bidder
had irregulanhes m mayor bid items; and
WHEREAS, Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors is the second lowest bidder at
$260,300.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Lugo Avenue, Street Improvement
Project, Project Number 5-5253 be awarded to Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors, for its
bid of $260,300 00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 2002.
