RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPALITY
OF MOAB.
Whereas, a majority of the owners of real property and the owners
of not less than one-third in value of the real property as shown on the
last assessment rolls in territory lying contiguous to this municipality
have petitioned this municipality for annexation; and
Whereas, the petitioner was accompanied by an accurate plat or
map of the territory to be annexed prepared under the supervision of the
city engineer or a competent surveyor and certified by the engineer or
surveyor; and
Whereas, the petition and plat or map have been filed in the office
of the municipal recorder.
It is hereby resolved by the Council of the City of Moab:
Section 1. TERRITORY ANNEXED. The territory described below is
hereby declared annexed to the municipality:
"All of Lots 5 and 6, Section 2, T26S, R21E, S.L.B. & M. which is
situated North of Kane Creek Boulevard. Also, beginning at a corner
which bears North 1801.3 feet and West 1359.9 feet from Southeast
corner, said Section 2, and proceeding thence North 75° 34' West
450 feet, thence North 14° 26' East 440 feet to the North side of
Kane Creek Boulevard, thence South 75° 34' East 450 feet, thence
South 14° 26' West 440 feet to the point of beginning."
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This resolution shall take effect
immediately.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned owners of real property and the owners of not
less than one-third in value of the real property as shown by the last
assessment rolls hereby petition the municipality of Moab for annexation
to the municipality of the property shown on the attached plat or map as
certified by the engineer or surveyor whose name appears thereon.
