HomeMy Public PortalAboutTBM 2017-09-06 FRASER BOARD OF TRUSTEES MINUTES DATE: September 6, 2017 MEETING: Board of Trustees Regular Meeting PLACE: Fraser Town Hall Board Room PRESENT Board: Mayor Philip Vandernail; Mayor Pro-Tern Eileen Waldow; Trustees; Andy Miller, Katie Soles and Herb Meyring Staff: Town Manager Jeff Durbin; Town Clerk, Antoinette McVeigh; Public Works Director Allen Nordin; Police Chief, Glen Trainor Others: See attached list Mayor Vandernail called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 1. Rol!call: 2. Approval of Agenda: Trustee Miller moved, and Trustee Meyring seconded the motion to approve the Agenda. Motion carried: 5-0. 3. Consent Agenda: a) Minutes — August 16, 2017 b) Ordinance No. 448 Deleting Access Permit/Driveway Construction Fee and Driveway Surety c) Resolution 2017-09-02 Frodo Facility Sharing Agreement Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried: 5-0. 4. Discussion and Possible Action Regarding a) Source Water Protection Plan EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Town staff have been working with East Grand Water Quality Board member water & wastewater providers, to draft a source water protection plan with the goal of developing and implementing tools to protect our drinking water supplies. This is provided to the Fraser Board of Trustees for informational purposes at this time. Adoption is anticipated at a later date. The Board discussed the plan as well as some additions such as pesticides and pollution. Page 2 of 2 b) Board Room Improvements Trustee Soles moved and Trustee Miller seconded the motion to approve a maximum of $20,000 for the Board Room improvements. Motion carried 3-2, Nay Meyring and Waldow. 5. Open Forum a) Business not on the agenda 6. Other Business- The Fraser Mural Program The DART Community Involvement and Meeting September 11 & 13 NWCOG will be increasing dues by $200 annually Open space planning grant has started September 27 joint meeting with the Town Board and Planning Commission Grand County#1 will be replacing a manhole on Rendezvous Rd. the week of 9/18-9/22. The road will be closed during this time. 7. Adjourn: Trustee Soles moved, and Trustee Waldow seconded the motion to adjourn. Motion carried: 5-0. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m. 410\14.
