JV Jj - RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A HEARING ON THE HAMEL SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to the direction of the City Council dated April 3, 1984, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. describing the rehabilitation of the Hamel Sewer Line in Sections 11 and 12, Township 118, Range 23 abutting on the following streets: Brockton Lake / , Hamel Road Hunter Drive Comanche Trail Hickory Drive Co. Road 116 Mill Street Elm Creek Drive; Highway 55 Sioux Drive Pinto Drive Kilkenny Lane Tower Drive Highway 101 Evergreen Road NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of the Hamel Sewer Line in accordance with the report of the consulting engineer and the assessment of benefiting property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvement pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of the improvement of $250,000. 2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on h( (ic ,- /<,' , 1984, at 8:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at 2052 County Road 24 in the City of Medina, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in the City of Medina, on Tuesday, November 20, 1984, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m., C.T. The following members of the Council were present: e,�G-&, 1e rY) C 11, SC -few and the following were absent: * * * The Mayor announced that the meeting was convened for the consider- ation of the bids which had been received for the purchase of the City's $725,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1984, as advertised for sale. The City Clerk presented affidavits showing publication of notice of sale in the City's official newspaper and in Commercial West, a financial paper published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which affidavits were examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The City Clerk presented a tabulation of the bids which had been re- ceived in the manner specified in the notice of sale of the Bonds. The bids were as follows:
