NOTICE OF PUBLIC DISCLOSURE
Pursuant to Section 403.7049, Florida State Statutes and Rule 17-1708, Florida
Administrative Code, the Town of Gulf Stream, Palm Beach County, Florida discloses the
following full costs of Solid Waste Management for residential and non-residential users
during the 2007-2008 fiscal year:
Residential Collection Service 2007 —2008
Residential Backdoor Collection $17.19
Residential Backdoor Recycling 7.20
Residential Disposal 10.17
AVERAGE TOTAL COST PER RESIDENTIAL UNIT PER MONTH $34.56
Non -Residential Collection Service
Non -Residential Collection Per Cubic Yard $4.49
Non -Residential Disposal Per Cubic Yard 1.88
AVERAGE TOTAL COST PER CUBIC YARD 37
Should you have any questions regarding Solid Waste Management or other municipal
operations of the Town of Gulf Stream, please contact Administration at 100 Sea Road, Town
of Gulf Stream, Florida during the hours of 9:00 AM. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
NOTICE OF BILLING CHANGE
Beginning April 1", 2008 the Town will begin charging all residents, who do not pay for
dumpster service, for garbage collection. The fee will be included on the bi-monthly water
bill.
Garbage Collection Schedule
Barrier Island
• Garbage Pick-up: Wednesday and Saturday
• Recycling: Saturday
(The point of collection continues to be the back door orjust outside the garage)
• Bulk Trash and Vegetation Pick-up: Wednesday
(Billed to homeowner, curbside pick-up)
West of the Intracoastal Waterway
The collection schedule for the Place An Soleil Subdivision remains the same:
• Garbage Pick-up: Monday and Thursday
• Recycling: Thursday
(The point of collection continues to be the back door or just outside the garage)

(Billed to homeowner, curbside pick-up)
Collection services are provided by Waste Management (561) 278-1717, and out-
franchise
urfranchise agreement through 2008 prohibits other hauling services from conducting
business in Town.
Flood Zone Information
As a public service, the Town of Gulf Stream provides the following information upon
request:
Whether a property is in or out of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) as shown on the
current Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) of the Town.
Additional flood insurance data, such as the FIRM Zone and the base flood elevation or
depth, if shown on the FIRM of the Town.
The Town also has elevation certificates for many of the properties in Town.
Call 276-5116 or visit Town Hall during normal hours (9 AM to 4 PM) to obtain this
information.

COMMUNITY REMINDERS
In order to preserve our unique community character, the Town adopted Design
Guidelines in 1995 that address exterior aspects of your home. If you are planning
exterior painting of any kind or major landscaping work, please contact Town Hall to
determine what requirements may apply.
All workers hired to conduct services for your property (employees and deliveries not
included) must be registered to do work in the Town. If you are hiring a contractor (for
example, to do lawn work or make improvements to your home) please ask them to
register at Town Hall if they are not currently on file. Occupational registration is
designed to ensure workers are properly licensed and insured, which enhances the safety
of our community.
The Town is presently under Phase III water restrictions. Even numbered addresses may
water on Thursday between 4am and 8anr OR between 4pm and Bpm. Odd numbered
addresses may water on Mondays between 4am and 8am OR between 4pm and Bpm.
• When walking your dog, please be courteous to other residents and pedestrians by taking
responsibility for your dog's waste.
