This is an important message for all Town of Gulf Stream Residents.
The Florida Department of Transportation has scheduled major road work on the entire
stretch of SR AIA within Gulf Stream Town Boundaries, beginning July 5, 2007.
Because of their schedule it has required that Gulf Stream begin a water main
replacement project along SR AIA between Golfview Road and just north of Pelican
Lane beginning February 26, 2007. This work will be completed just prior to the Florida
Department of Transportation commencement date of July 5, 2007 with a completion
date of December 1, 2007, for their project.
During the work events, traffic will be restricted to one lane traffic in the immediate
working area. The contractors have been granted extended working hours in order to
expedite the project. They may be working from 7:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. every day
except Sundays and Holidays.
Thank you for your cooperation during this inconvenience. Please plan your trip through
