RESOLUTION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT ON HUNTER
DRIVE SOUTH STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 1st day of May, 1984,
in the City Council Chambers in the City of Medina, at 8:00 p.m., at
which time the Council considered and ordered the improvement of
Hunter Drive South, all as set forth in Resolution No. 84-14, said
improvement consisting of the grading, base and asphalt surfacing
of the said street and to assess the benefited property for all or
a portion of the cost thereof; and
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of August, 1984, the City Council held
a public hearing and adopted the assessment roll for the said improve-
ment by Resolution No. 84-60; and
WHEREAS, the property of A. Skidmore Thorpe was included in
all calculations for the improvement, considered and evaluated at
all stages of the proceedings, and included as a benefited and as-
sessed parcel, but Mr. Thorpe was not given mailed notice of either
of the public hearings; and
WHEREAS, the Council called for a hearing for a supplemental
assessment for the property of A. Skidmore Thorpe which hearing was
held on the 4th day of December, 1984, and at which time Mr. A.
Skidmore Thorpe appeared at the hearing, discussed the matter with
the City Council, and offered no objection to the project or the
assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. All actions of the City Council taken with respect to the Hunter
Drive South Street improvement, including Resolutions 84-14 and
84-60 are hereby confirmed.
