HomeMy Public PortalAbout1984-090" J Member .1�� e,r�� its adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. - % O RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO DICKEY NATURAL SYSTEMS, INC. WHEREAS, Dickey Natural Systems, Inc., hereinafter called the "Applicant", has requested the approval of a conditional use permit to manufacture animal bedding materials at 2705 Highway 55 in the City of Medina, upon real estate which is legally described on Ex- hibit A which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference; and WHEREAS, the operation of the business subject to the following conditions will meet the criteria for the granting of a conditional use permit under the Medina Zoning Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA, that a conditional use permit be granted to Dickey Natural Systems, Inc. to operate a manufacturing plant for animal bedding material at the above -described location, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. That the manufacturing plant shall conform in all respects to State law and the Ordinances of the City of Medina; 2. That a parking plan be submitted showing sufficient parking spaces to meet the City Code, that the plan be approved by the Zoning Administrator and implemented by the applicant, such implementation to be completed on the Aye -day of /".66/`aq v , 19 y j- ; / 3. That the number of semi -trailers to be parked on the property at any one time shall not exceed three (3); 4. That the asphalt surface of the parking area shall be repaired pursuant to standards established by the Medina City Engineer; 5. That no more than forty percent (400) of the surface area of the property shall be covered by asphalt, buildings, structures, or other material which makes the surface impervious to water; 6. That a plan shall be submitted to the Zoning Administrator for opaque screening of all rooftop mechanical equipment and all exterior lighting on or before the tor day of 17,66"uarr , 19 ys , that the plans be approved by the Zoning Ad inistrator and implemented and completed on or before the l s r day of , 19 8.'6-- " , 7. That the plan be reviewed by the City Council within one (1) year after the start of operations; and 8. That the applicant enter into a development contract to guaran- tee the completion of these conditions.
