REQUESTING APPROVAL OF INSERTION OF $3,000,000 THE
2007 BUDGET REVENUE AVAILABLE FROM THE MIDDLESEX
COUNTY OPEN SPACE, RECREATION AND FAm~LAND AND
HISTORIC PRESERVATION TRUST FUND GRANT
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides that the Director of Local
Government Services may approve the insertion of any special
i tern of revenue in the budget of any municipali ty when such
i tern shall have been made available by 1m", and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
budget, and
EREAS f said Director may also approve the insertion of any
of appropriation foi equal amount.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
requests the Director of the Division of Local
overnment Services to approve the insertion of an i tern of
evenue in the budget of the year 2007 in the sum of $3,000,000
hich i tern is now available as a revenue from the Middlesex
ounty Open Space, Recreation and Farmland and Historic
reservation Trust Fund Grant.
E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $3,000,000 be and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:

istoric Preservation Trust Fund Grant
