RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION REZONING THE WALTER G. ANDERSON,
INC. PROPERTY FROM RURAL COMMERCIAL TO RURAL INDUSTRIAL
WHEREAS, Walter G. Anderson, Inc. is the purchaser of real es-
tate legally described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, the said purchaser has requested rezoning of the pro-
perty from Rural Commercial to Rural Industrial; and
WHEREAS, the proposed use requires no greater use of public
utilities than the uses available under the Commercial Zoning; and
WHEREAS, adequate provision has been made by the applicant for
upgraded street access; and
WHEREAS, the proposed use is compatible with existing and pro-
posed uses which are available on adjacent properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA:
1. The property described on Exhibit A is hereby rezoned from Rur-
al Commercial to Rural Industrial and the Zoning Administrator
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare appropriate amend-
ments to the Zoning Map of the City of Medina and the Compre-
hensive Land Use Plan of the City of Medina, based upon the
following considerations:
a. The Minutes of the Planning Commission and the City Council
reflect that a public hearing on the proposed rezoning was
held on the 9 day of n( �0h/c , 1984 and that
substantial information was provided by the applicant and
interested citizens.
b. The rezoning is conditionedupon the development of the
subject property in accordance with the subdivision ap-
proval and the conditional use permit which is processed
contemporaneously herewith.
