DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
The Town of Gulf Stream has contracted to improve a section of storm drainage near your
home beginning approximately April 3, 2000. The intersections of Gulf Stream Road, Polo
and Banyan will be difficult to navigate during the time of the work activity. This work should
be completed in 3 — 10 working days if all goes well, and the weather permits.
The process the Town has chosen to make these repairs is less disruptive to our residents
and saves the Town almost $70,000. Removal of pavement, grass and hedges will not be
necessary using this technology.
As the work progresses along each road, parts of it will be temporarily closed. The
contractor will be working as rapidly as possible to limit your inconvenience.
